We will start visiting the “dehesa”, the holm oak woodlands which are the origin of the Iberian black hogs and the world of iberico ham. After its ecosystem, we will continue visiting the iberico factory, to get familiar with the traditional production process. This first visit will conclude with a tasting of iberico products produced in the factory.

In our second visit we will show a “almazara”, an olive oil factory. We will explore the olive trees estate, to understand the agricultural peculiarities. At the “almazara” we will go through the different phases in the olive oil production, followed by an explanation of the different types of olive oil. This second visit will conclude with a pairing of the olive oils.

The third visit will bring you to a winery in the Ribera del Guadiana (Protected Denomination of Origin). Wines from Extremadura Region are gaining more and more relevance in the international scene. This third visit will conclude with a tasting of the different wines produced in the winery.
